No. Open gyms and evaluations are free. Once a player is offered a roster spot, there are program fees that cover uniforms, gym time, coaching, and tournament entry. We walk every family through the numbers before they commit. If cost is a barrier, tell us; we work with families.
Basketball shoes, a water bottle, and a reversible jersey if they have one. We supply everything else for tryouts and open gyms. Bring a parent or guardian to the first session; we want to meet them.
We roster girls in grades 7 through 12 who want to play college basketball and are willing to work for it. You do not need to be the best player on your school team. You do need to show up, compete, and take coaching. We evaluate in person, not on reputation.
Most events are in Texas. Two or three times a year we travel out of state: Las Vegas, Oklahoma City, occasionally further. Travel is a real commitment of time and money, and we do not pretend otherwise. The calendar is published months ahead so families can plan.
No. If you have film, send the link; it helps us evaluate faster. If you do not, come to an open gym or a tryout and we will evaluate you in person. Plenty of our players were first seen in the gym, not on a highlight reel.
Lynda Crenshaw coordinates the program and sends schedules, travel details, and updates by email and text. You will know what is happening before it happens. If something changes, you hear it from us first.
